Quality & Compliance
How Fovarya controls specification, testing and the documents that travel with each shipment.
This page sets out how Fovarya manages product quality and the documentation that travels with a shipment. Specific certifications held by Fovarya or by a given supplier are listed on request and named on the certificate for each lot — we do not display certification marks we cannot substantiate.
Specification control
Every order runs against a written specification covering grade, packaging, analytical limits (for example moisture, acidity, Brix), and any microbiological or residue requirements. The specification is agreed before production and referenced on the certificate of analysis.
Testing
Lots are tested against the agreed limits. Typical parameters by category: moisture and foreign matter for dates and dried fruit; free acidity, peroxide value and UV absorbance for olive oil; Brix, pH and microbiological counts for syrups and juices; water activity and pathogen status for dried vegetables. Pesticide residue screening is carried out where the destination market or customer requires it.
Documentation with each shipment
- Certificate of analysis for the lot
- Certificate of origin
- Phytosanitary certificate (fresh produce and some dried goods)
- Health or free-sale certificate where required
- Packing list and commercial invoice
Traceability
Each lot can be traced to its producing region and season. Where chain-of-custody certification (for example organic) applies, the certifying body and licence number are stated on the lot documents.
